The Netoile Restaurant 

Overview:

Make all needed art to develop a game of the exact style given above showing more Egyptian culture in your drawing making it feel more in Ramadan and in Egypt.

Resources:

Feel free to use any copyright free assets in your output (Any non original or external design must show the source)

Task:

  1. Main menu shape

  2. Ramadan and Egyptian decorations

  3. Five characters for waiting customers with progress bar showing their waiting time
    (Animation for waiting customers preferred)

  4. Cooking Pans and food components

  5. The game supports 3 types of Egyptian food, you need to design the screens and animations for each, players are required to finish each dish in less than 60 secs. or they will make a customer angry because he waited too long.

  6. Game Color and Style Rhyming

Mini-Games:

  1. Knafeh Maker
    The first mini-game is the
    Knafeh dish, the challenge is to spread the Knafeh dough on the hot pan in circular motion quickly while it becomes cooked, if you take too long it will burn, if the circular motion is not accurate, it will cross.

  2. Basbousa Decorator
    Second mini-game is the
    Basbousa dish decoration, the challenge is to pour syrup, then decorate with nuts, then cut into lozenges (diamond shapes).

  3. Katayef Fryer
    Third dish is
    Qatayef, you fry the dough, then you put some nuts inside and close them. Frying too long will make them burnt.

  1. Any design or structure change

  2. Any development

Acceptance Criteria

  • Details of the plate and decorations of the mini games and the customers scene

  • Early submission will be considered 

  • Providing all the required assets

  • Appearing of theme (Egyptian - Ramadan)

  • Output Quality, also source files must be included.

  • Unified Art style and colors.

  • No copyright infringements.

  • Screenshots of all the scenes composed from the assets you will create or choose. Including win and loss scenarios.

  • Minimum acceptable score is 80 (80% of 100). First, Second, Third place will be the highest score above 80.

  • If two submissions earn the same score, the first submission will get the highest place
