Code-quests is a platform that helps business publish projects (called Quests) and ask a community of developers and designers to compete to build the best, highest quality implementation or design.

Given that multiple talented designers or developers work on the same project, the expected variations, out of the box thinking, and unique perspectives shine through the implementation. Something that is not achievable in traditional software projects.

Another important factor is the speed of development, the time bounded nature of quests, ensures that the project owner gets the project done faster, also competitors are engaged with the project to finish it in time.

Each Quest has 4 phases:

1. Published / Open: The quest is just published by the project manager on the platform, it is visible in the quests list page. Possible competitors read and learn about the quest. In this phase, you are asked to "Register" to show your commitment to work on this project. (think Join the quest).

2. In Progress: Competitors have registered and are working to finish the project and can submit any time. No more registrations are accepted in this phase. In this phase, You are asked to "Submit" your work.
   Note that judges might review the submissions and reject them during this phase, but a winner will never be announced.

3. In Review: Submission deadline passed. Competitors have submitted, no more submissions are being accepted. Reviewers/Judges are checking the quality of the submissions and selecting a winner. usually this is 2 days max.

4. Completed: The winners were announced and the quest were completed successfully. Note that due to no registration or no submissions or low quality submissions, the quest might fail, but will be closed due to low-engagement.
