👋 We are Code Quests, a tech hiring platform helping startups and software companies hire engineers through real-world technical challenges instead of traditional CV screening.

We work with growing tech companies to help them:

  1. attract stronger engineering talent

  2. reduce hiring noise

  3. evaluate real technical skills

  4. improve hiring quality through practical assessments

We’re now looking for a Junior SDR (Sales Development Representative) to help us grow our outbound pipeline and connect with qualified companies and decision-makers.

💰 Compensation: EGP 7k - 10K  + Performance Incentives

🔍 Who We’re Looking For

  1. ✔️ 1–2 years experience in SDR preferably in tech or B2B services / lead generation / outbound sales

  2. ✔️ Strong communication and writing skills

  3. ✔️ Comfortable with LinkedIn outreach and cold outreach

  4. ✔️ Good understanding of buyer personas and qualification

  5. ✔️ Organized and capable of managing pipelines and follow-ups

  6. ✔️ Curious, coachable, and growth-oriented mindset


🎯 Your Mission

You’ll work on generating qualified opportunities for tech hiring services by identifying the right companies, reaching the right decision-makers, and building outbound sequences that convert interest into qualified meetings.

This Hiring Quest simulates the type of outbound and qualification work you’ll be doing in the role.


🧪 The Challenge

🧩 Task 1 — Lead Generation Strategy

Explain 3 different ways you would generate qualified leads.

For each approach, explain:

  1. Why this method makes sense

  2. Which companies or personas you would target

  3. What tools or platforms you would use


🧩 Task 2 — Prospect Qualification & Prioritization

From the Below list of companies and contacts.
Task 2 - list

Your task is to:

  1. Select the BEST 5 prospects

  2. Select the WORST 5 prospects

For each selection, explain:

  1. Why you selected them

  2. Whether the contact is a buyer, influencer, or non-buyer

  3. Why they are or are not a strong fit


🧩 Task 3 — Outreach Sequence Design

Choose 2 prospects from your BEST 5 list.

For each prospect:

  1. Explain how many outreach messages you would send

  2. Explain the goal of each message

  3. Write the content of each message

You may include:

  1. LinkedIn connection requests

  2. Follow-up messages

  3. Re-engagement messages

  4. Cold call opening approaches


🧩 Task 4 — Objection Handling

Mention 2 objections you believe prospects may raise.

For each objection:

  1. Explain how you would respond

  2. Explain how you would continue the conversation professionally


📹 Video Walkthrough (Max 10 Minutes)

This is an important evaluation component.

Your video should include:

1️⃣ Brief introduction about yourself

2️⃣ Walkthrough of your answers and reasoning

3️⃣ How you approached prospect qualification

4️⃣ Why you selected your outreach strategy

5️⃣ How you think about outbound sales and booking qualified meetings
